I teach this as a secular course and all physical and psychological benefits are grounded in neuroscience evidence. No faith or belief required. Just practice the techniques and discover their benefits for themselves for yourself.

There are 3 key types of meditation –
Focused Attention, Open Monitoring (Mindfulness) and Automatic Self Transcending (Mantra based).
I will be teaching you 4 techniques from those areas and we will discuss how you specifically can integrate one or all of them into your everyday life.
- Week 1 Introduction to Meditation (60min). Breathwork Meditation.Relaxation, peace and letting go.Meditation and Daily Life (30min) We discuss your daily routine and how meditation can fit into even the busiest of lives.
Week 2 Buddhist ‘Metta’ Technique (60 mins). Mindfulness and EmotionsLove, compassion, openness.Meditation and Relationships (30mins). We discuss your relationships and how they can be improved through meditation
Week 3 Being at Peace – Zazen: Zen Buddhist Technique (60 mins).
Clear, simple, profound.
Meditation and Work (30mins) We discuss your relationship with work and productivity or perhaps dealing with unemployment, redundancy or full time caring.
Week 4 Vedic Meditation – Automatic Self Transcending Mantra Technique (60mins). Surrender, freedom and bliss.
Meditation and Personal Freedom (30mins). We discuss your aspirations for the future and how meditation can support them (90mins)
Week 5 Revise all 4 techniques you have been taught. Choose your favourite to explore deeper this week.
Week 6 Re-check your chosen technique and explore all aspects. Questions and answers. What next? Follow up support and so on
A summary will be sent with material links after each of your sessions. No prep or homework is required only that you practice each new technique between weekly sessions. A participation certificate can be issued at the end of the course to support your personal development and/or CPD.
